Unhealthy behaviors are not easy to overcome.
When you act in ways on your computer, with yourself or others that feel unhealthy, destructive, and embarrassing, it makes you feel demoralized. When you think that you can’t control these unwanted desires and actions, it’s even worse.
Sometimes, the discouragement you feel weighs so heavily that your chest feels like it’s sinking. Some days, you can shake it off, distract your mind, and continue your day for a while. But that unwanted desire to act destructively is usually waiting for you when you are most vulnerable.
When you fall, you beat yourself up and tell yourself that this is the last time. But soon, the feeling of resolve weakens, and the cravings to indulge in self-serving, self-destructive behaviors become overwhelming. The unhealthy behaviors start over again.
At first, you could find encouragement and hope by abstaining from these embarrassing, destructive behaviors for days or weeks. But time and time again, you end up falling and finding yourself in the same shameful place and feeling more deeply discouraged.
Overcoming those behaviors requires help.

Reducing hard-to-control impure desires and passions requires addressing three areas foundational to the problem – isolation, unresolved issues, and unhealthy rituals or behavior patterns.
First, we will address the isolation component. Intense cravings for impure thoughts and actions are rooted in a lack of intimacy with people. Together, we strengthen you to become more authentic and honest with the people you care about most. This authenticity will increase your ability and desire to experience reality and not fall for the lies and fleeting pleasures of fantasy that leave you in a hole of emptiness and dissatisfaction.
Second, we will identify current and past experiences that are not fully resolved, making you feel wounded and ashamed. Fully addressing, healing, and resolving these past and present situations will help you feel stronger, empowered, and confident, as well as reduce the cravings for unwanted and unhealthy behaviors.
Finally, we will look at your daily behavior patterns and identify and strengthen the healthy practices that lead to desirable, positive outcomes. We will also identify and change the destructive patterns that lead to undesirable, negative outcomes.
You can overcome those unhealthy sexual urges.
As the unhealthy cravings decrease, you will experience the strength to choose the behaviors you want and say no to the behaviors you don’t want.
This success will breed more motivation, strength, and confidence to continue decreasing cravings, making it easier to resist unhealthy behaviors and increase your desired outcome.
